UPDATE: Following the announcement on 31 October 2020 that England will be going into a second national lockdown on 5 November 2020 (for four weeks), we want to reassure patients that we are open and here for you (for routine care and treatments at Jesmond and Ponteland, and emergency care at Stanley). If you have an appointment booked with us, please attend as normal. If you have a toothache, please contact us and one of our dentists will call you back to assess your emergency. Please bear with us as we are working to limited capacity, but we want to see you as soon as we can. 

As you know, earlier in 2020 all dental practices in the UK were instructed by the Chief Dental Officer to close due to Covid 19.

The Government then issued new guidance on 28th May 2020 and we operated a phased reopening of all Honour Health practices from 8th June 2020. During Phase 1 we only provided urgent and essential dental services.

We have now moved into Phase 2. Essential dental treatment and dental emergencies is prioritised, but we are now able to resume routine care at Jesmond and Ponteland. We are seeing patients at Stanley for emergency care only at this time.

You will currently be unable to use the online booking system. Please call or email your chosen practice if you would like to book an appointment. Your understanding and patience is appreciated.

All Honour Health Practices have invested in increased PPE and enhanced cross infection control protocols to ensure the maximum safety of our patients and our team.

Appointment times will be longer. We will also need increased time between patients for our dental team to implement the enhanced cross infection measures. As a result we are able to treat a smaller number of patients per day and in the short term this can mean a longer wait for your appointment.

We have placed screens on our reception desk, changed the layout of the clinic and enhanced our decontamination protocol. All of our team have been provided with appropriate PPE to carry out your dental treatment.
