It’s National Smile Month, which runs from 14 May – 14 June 2018, and here at Honour Health we’re big supporters of the National Smile Month campaign and its important messages.
National Smile Month, set up by the Oral Health Foundation, is the UK’s largest and longest-running campaign to promote good oral health, and to engage others in developing and maintaining a healthy mouth.
It highlights three key messages, which are:
- Brush your teeth last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste
- Cut down on how much sugary food and drink you have and how often
- Visit your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend
The ultimate aim of the campaign is to help us achieve good physical and mental wellbeing by improving our oral health. This fits very well alongside our own Honour Health motto – ‘Smile more. Life life’
Keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages where we’ll be sharing ‘smiley selfies’ of our team, as well as tips and advice to help keep your mouth healthy.

Keep smiling! 🙂
