We’re so happy to welcome our new associate dentist, Matthew Hodgson, to our growing team at Honour Health Jesmond!
Matthew has broad-ranging experience in all areas of dentistry. He qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2013 (Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Merit in Clinical Dentistry).
He went on to complete his Foundation Training in General Practice in 2014 and was awarded the FGDP prize for his portfolio that he completed over the course of the year.
Matthew received his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019.
He has a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and is undertaking extensive further postgraduate training in these areas, expanding the range of treatments that he is able to offer his patients to improve their smiles.
Matthew has always enjoyed being able to work with patients to build their confidence, especially when they may be anxious about dental treatment.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys reading and is a keen guitar player.
