When we first entered lockdown back in March, we were determined to do all we could to help our local community at what was a very worrying time for everybody.

We collected and delivered donations of food to our local food bank, at a time when we knew they were sadly likely to need support more than ever.

We donated scrubs and PPE to St Oswald’s Hospice, to help healthcare workers look after the vulnerable people in their care.

After seeing news reports about the national concerns surrounding the lack of PPE, and knowing that we were temporarily unable to see patients at our practices, we decided to donate our own PPE to local hospitals who were suffering from shortages.

At a time of crisis, we wanted to do all we could to help those on the frontline and those suffering from the effects of the lockdown.

When we couldn’t see patients physically, we were triaging over the phone, to do everything possible to look after their dental health.

Later on, we were notified that we were to become an Urgent Dental Care centre . It was a great relief to be able to help those most in need of dental care.

Now that all three practices are open again, we are working hard to see as many patients as we can.

Thank you all for bearing with us while we navigate new ways of working during this time. We love being back at work – but we are still operating at a reduced capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions.

We look forward to seeing you at Honour Health soon. Keep smiling!
