Our team is growing, and we’re very excited to welcome Zaakia Durrani, our new dental hygienist, to the Honour Health family this week!
Zaakia has been practising as a dental hygienist since 2016 and will be working across our Jesmond, Stanley and Ponteland practices.
Zaakia studied Oral Health Science at the University of Essex and worked in the South East before moving up to Newcastle.
She previously worked in Make-up Artistry and worked in the North East and Manchester as well as Essex as a freelancer during her time at university.
In her role as a hygienist, Zaakia most enjoys meeting patients from all backgrounds and seeing how much of an impact she has made in their life by improving their confidence and smiles. Zaakia loves seeing how anxious patients become so open and happy to be around her after their first appointments.
Zaakia believes that good oral hygiene is a gateway to a happier and healthier life, and she says she thoroughly enjoys being on this amazing and impactful journey.
In her spare time, Zaakia really enjoys keeping active, whether that’s through doing DIY projects at home, or going to theme parks.
Zaakia likes to go to the gym, as she likes to chase after the healthier and better lifestyle, as well as socialising with friends and family and spreading good vibes!
