In this week’s post, we’re giving you the lowdown on our highly popular eDermastamp (EDS) microneedling treatment, which uses your body’s natural wound healing responses to rejuvenate your skin.
What is eDermastamp?
eDermastamp is an electronic microneedling treatment that uses tiny needles to cause small punctures in the skin. It may seem counterintuitive to puncture the skin in order to improve it, but this is a carefully controlled, professional skin needling process, which really does work.
The act of making these tiny punctures then stimulates the body’s natural wound healing responses, which work to renew and regenerate the skin cells. As your skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered, to give an almost immediate plumping effect.
Honour Health clinics are authorised to use genuine eDermastamp medical devices and our aestheticians have completed a comprehensive training programme to deliver these professional treatments.
What does the treatment involve?
EDS uses a leading electronic device to stimulate the epidermis and dermis, allowing us to control the intensity and needle length throughout the procedure to achieve the best possible results. This device has been tested under the strictest quality control system to ensure a safe and thorough procedure.
Before your treatment begins, we will numb your skin with topical anaesthetic, so you’ll be completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. At Honour Health, we use hyaluronic acid during the treatment to further improve skin hydration and the production of collagen. The full treatment time is about an hour and 30 minutes.
Our skin aestheticians really enjoy delivering this treatment because they can get right up to the lash line under the eyes – to really work on the pesky under eye area.

What are the benefits?
eDermastamp is a very effective treatment for the following conditions:
· Acne scarring
· Photo-damaged and ageing skin
· Sun damaged skin
· Lines and wrinkles
· Stretch marks
The recommended course of treatment is usually three sessions at about six weeks apart, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.
What happens afterwards?
Immediately after the treatment, your skin will be red (similar to the appearance of sunburn), and will stay that way for around 24-36 hours after the treatment. Before you leave the clinic, we will apply a soothing and calming gel (control tactics) that you will continue to use at home until the redness subsides.
We will also apply Heliocare 360 mineral SPF factor 50, to provide UVA and UVB protection for your skin, as your newly exposed skin will be very vulnerable. You must continue to use this at home, alongside your control tactics, over the course of your treatment, to soothe and protect your skin.
You will need to use both Heliocare and control tactics over the course of your treatment to soothe and protect your skin.
How can I book?
